Chapter Seven

How do you actually get better?

The protocol is not complicated. The sequence is non-negotiable.

Healing is not about finding the one thing that fixes everything. It is about understanding the body as an interconnected system, addressing the right things in the right order, and giving your drainage infrastructure enough support to keep up with what you are asking it to process.

This is why the same supplement protocol can produce miraculous results for one person and send another into their worst flare of the year. The protocol is not wrong. The order is wrong. The drainage is not open. The foundational picture has not been addressed first.

The three pillars
I · ORGAN SYSTEMS II · PATHOGEN LOAD III · ENVIRONMENT LOAD
All three are load-bearing. Working on only one collapses the structure.

The eight root causes

Within the pathogen layer (parasites, fungus, bacteria, viruses) order of clearing matters enormously. Parasites first: they harbour other pathogens inside their biofilms and themselves. Then fungal infections (candida and mold), then viral load, and SIBO/bacteria.

When we address the organ systems, everything downstream improves. Root causes are interlinked: relieve one and the body has more capacity to handle the rest. Many of the pathogen treatments also work against several pathogens at once.

Note: this root cause list is not exhaustive, there are more such as heavy metals, nickel allergies, etc. but I found these to be the most important on my journey and research.

The sequence within the sequence

Within the pathogen layer, order matters enormously. Parasites first, because they harbour other pathogens inside them, including Candida, mold, and heavy metals. Killing parasites without addressing what they are carrying creates a toxic release that the system cannot manage. After parasites: Candida. Then mold, then viral load, then heavy metals. Each step changes the internal terrain for the next.

Biofilm disruption is a step that most protocols ignore. Pathogens protect themselves by secreting a polysaccharide matrix that makes them invisible to the immune system and impermeable to antimicrobial agents. Without disrupting biofilm first, pathogen protocols often fail entirely. Proteolytic enzymes, certain herbal compounds, and specific timing relative to eating are all part of making this work.

What actually helped me most

Infrared sauna was transformative, both for lymphatic drainage and for directly supporting the skin as a detox organ. The skin attempts to eliminate through itself when the primary pathways are blocked, which is part of why TSW skin looks the way it does. Supporting that process rather than suppressing it accelerates healing.

Peptides were a significant part of my protocol. KPV, a tripeptide derived from alpha-MSH, was the most impactful for reducing inflammatory cascades without suppressing immune function. BPC-157 supported gut lining repair and liver regeneration during periods of extreme demand. Larazotide addressed intestinal permeability in a way I had not seen from any other intervention. How and when you use these matters as much as whether you use them.

Drainage first. Pathogens in sequence. Environment cleaned up in parallel. Most people never get told this, so they spend years doing the right things in the wrong order.

I have watched people read everything I have just written, buy every supplement on the list, and come back a year later more depleted than when they started. Not because the information was wrong. Because implementing a multi-root-cause protocol alone, without someone who can see your full picture and adjust when something is not working, is where most people quietly fall apart. The protocol is not the hard part. The navigation is.
